About Me

FYC Scavenger Hunt/Dare Night
Yesterday was really really fun. I loved spending time with Jerico, Leslie, Arlynn, and Therese! 24 Dares in 4 hours, with evidence. I’m glad we got creative with it, it was just a lot of fun overall. We have videos of a flash mob, ripping up a job application, singing really loud in the food court, doing the “Stone Cold Stunner” on Jerico, walking in a conga line, the Jollibee Bee dancing for a birthday party, and pretending the Hurricane Simulator was hurting me and Leslie while we were in it. That one drew a crowd, hahaha. Great day yesterday. I can’t wait for the next Scavenger Hunt. (:
Tonight was amazing. I spent all day making the stuff for Gabe. Seriously kept me busy. We left the house at around 5:30. We were the first ones there. The owner was really nice, and their customer service was great. I finally ate real food for the first time the whole day, and it tasted great. Hahaha. We got to reserve our seats, and we just chilled until we went inside. Mom went to go pick up Ash, and when she got back, Gabe finally arrived. Oh my goodness, just seeing him in the flesh made me freak out.
He warmed up with Half of my Heart, and later sang a whole bunch of his originals. After he was done setting up, he asked if there were any questions. I asked if he would marry me. “Uh..I think I’ll go with yes on that one.” HAHAH. (Thanks for suggesting it, Ash. <3) I called most of the songs he was gunna sing. Hella pro. lol. One of the last songs he played was Circle of Life, and me and Ash were just melting over it. I got to request Better Yet, and it is so much better in real life. I got to talk to him and take a bunch of pictures with him before we left. It was just a really chill time, since there weren’t an enormous amount of people there. A great experience for my first time seeing Gabe Bondoc. He even taught me how to play Better Yet on my uke. I’m glad I got to share today with Mom, Chris, and Ashley. I couldn’t ask for a better night.
Gabe Bondoc is my fiance. <3
3 Years, 2 Months, 5 Days +
That’s how long me and Ashley Nguyen have been best friends. We were talking earlier, and we both agreed it started the day that Arniel had a get together at Crowne Plaza on the last day of 7th grade. Me and Ashley did have math together in Chiu’s class, but we never really talked. I remember we went to In-N-Out, and that’s where the earliest picture was taken. (This needed two photosets. lol.) We look completely ridiculous in most of the middle school pictures that I have. I spent the last hour or so just going through pictures and it’s made me realize how much time has passed since we bonded.
The second picture is the first day we really got to spend a whole day together. I went over to her place, and she was webcamming with one of her friends. We went to Starbucks and I ended up acting like a dinosaur when we chilled at Burnett. It was before they built that new playground. We tried taking good pictures of the sunset. We tried making a cover of Knock You Down, and I didn’t leave until 10:30. That’s a day that I’ll never forget.
The third picture is from the last day of 7th grade, I think. And the 4th picture is from the last day of 8th grade. We got to have P.E. together in 8th grade, and oh my gosh. I think that’s when I fell in love. AHAH. Logsdon called us Smiley and Latte Girl. - 14! Endurance runs, mile runs (she helped me reach my personal best), basketball, weight training, archery, the list goes on. I always looked forward to having P.E. with her. She wrote in my yearbook before we were officially done with middle school. “Alexis, imma miss you a lot! Even though we are gonna chill but still. Yeah. I love you! I’ll chill w/ you in H.S. a lot. I promise! - Ashley bebot Nguyen” (I just noticed how repetitive that was. You probably didn’t even know what to write. AHAH.) I’m glad she kept her word.
The 5th picture is from my birthday at Embassy Suites. She’s slept over the night before my birthday party 3 years in a row now. I don’t know what I’d do without her to help me set up. We spend forever doing streamers (well I usually just cut pieces of tape for her, ahahah), and it takes a good 2 seconds to destory it when the party’s done. We did the balloons in the elevator once, and we figured out that the acoustics are great in there. One year she convinced me to “accidentally” drop a bottle of hotel shampoo into the hot tub. We came back a few hours later to find it bubbly as hell. LOL.
Then we started high school. She’s been there for me through everything. All the boy drama, every stressful grade or test, she always has faith in me. She’s always supported me. We bought each other RadIsRad shirts. (That’s where her wrapping started to piss me off.) We joined PUSO together and ended up doing Battle of the Tribes. So much practice, and it was a fun experience. Team bonding at Denny’s afterwards, ahaha! “4 French Toast slams, please.” At the end of our freshmen year, we were able to bond with a few boys that became like brothers to us, and we called ourselves KAPAM.
Sophomore year, we ended up having P.E. together again! We did tennis, rugball, and ping-pong. We met a bunch of great people just from P.E. Willis especially. Hahah! She supported me through my basketball season, no matter how bad I was on the court. We went to Trojan Olympics together, and did Battle of the Tribes with PUSO again. 4th place this year! :D Partner. lol. Divas.
This summer started off crazy. My 16th Birthday was..crazy. Haha. For my real birthday, she got me a cake, made me an awesome card, and gave me presents. I love her so much. We had a few get togethers before we both left for the East Coast. When we got back, we had to hang out immediately. We watched Friends With Benefits and it’s one of our favorites. “You called me a p-p-pussy!” “I’m done.” “Butt! Butt!” She’s been to a few Zamora parties, and she’s part of the family already. Got initiated. AHAHA. She can handle them though.
Throughout these past 3 years, we’ve grown with each other. She’s my other half. I don’t think I could survive without her. She balances me out, and I do the same for her. We may not always know what to say, but we know that we’re there for each other. Even though we can be complete assholes to each other, we know it’s all out of love. We have a countless amount of inside jokes and code names. My parents treat her like she’s their daughter, and her mom treats me like her daughter too. She sleeps over basically every other week. We have movie marathons and late night talks. I love helping her with projects. Ironically, after all the time we’ve spent together, we don’t have a lot of pictures of us together. I know that I’ll always keep our memories close to my heart. No matter what we go through, it’s always going to be us two. She isn’t my friend. She is my sister. Eleven with all my heart and nothing less.
This is the best relationship I’ve ever been in.
I love you Ash. <3
